The Bundi Yamatji Aboriginal Corporation hold native title in trust for the native title holders.
On 7th February 2020, Mortimer J made a positive native title determination in relation to 47,970 square kilometres in the Murchison region of Western Australia, comprising the broader Yamatji Nation. The determination area contains parcels of land within the city of Geraldton and extends to land within the towns of Northampton, Dongara, Eneabba, Three Springs, Morawa, Mullewa, Mingenew and Yalgoo. The area is intersected by river systems and is now mostly farmland.
The PBC website acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and their continuing
connection to land, culture and community.
