The Gulngay Kinjufile Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC act as an agent for the Gulngay People. 

On 4 April 2019, Robertson J recognised the Gulngay People’s native title rights and interests and nominated the Gulngay Kinjufile Aboriginal Corporation as the prescribed body corporate, following an agreement being reached between the native title holders, the State government and other interested parties.  

Other than in relation to water, the Gulngay Peoples have the right to possession, occupation, use and enjoinment of the area to the exclusion of all others.
