The Dieri Aboriginal Corporation administers land on behalf of the Dieri peoples. Their ownership over the land was first recognised in the Dieri Native Title Claim native title determination of May 2012. The Dieri NO.2 Native Title Claim has seen the Court grant native title over further territory in the Cooper Creek region of South Australia.

The Dieri peoples have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Adnyamathanha Peoples as there were competing claims over proposed determination areas (Coulthard v State of South Australia [2014] FCA 124).
