The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is committed to implementing the Government’s policies and programs to improve the lives of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The National Indigenous Australians Agency funds projects aimed at helping Indigenous Australians.
The Attorney General’s Department (AGD) Native Title Unit assists in the administering of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth). AGD informs government policy on native title and provides access to information on native title reforms, alternative state and territory native title regimes, and the future acts regime.
The Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the ATSI Act and subject to the PGPA Act. The ILSC assists Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to realise economic, social, cultural and environmental benefits that the ownership and management of land, water and water related rights can bring.
Economic independence for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is at the heart of IBA’s vision and programs.
We want Indigenous Australians to have the same financial opportunities as other Australians. Through IBA’s programs, we attempt to remove some of the obstacles that may prevent our customers from creating wealth, accumulating assets and fulfilling their aspirations.
These programs assist Indigenous Australians to buy their own homes, own their own businesses and invest in commercial ventures that provide strong financial returns.
The PBC website acknowledges the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and their continuing
connection to land, culture and community.
We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
