Aboriginal elder takes fight against WA heritage laws to United Nations

Ngalia elder Kado Muir, who is also a member of the Indigenous Peoples Organisation Australia and chair of the National Native Title Council, addressed the United Nations’ expert mechanism on the rights of Indigenous peoples via video link last week as part of its global investigations into the right to self-determination by Indigenous people.

Green H2 and fuels project in WA

Tjaltjraak rangers using environmental DNA analysis to monitor country

Joy as Jabiru is returned to Mirarr traditional owners, ending 20-plus year native title fight

One of Australia's longest running native title fights has ended with the formal return of land rights to traditional owners in the Kakadu Northern Territory township of Jabiru.
